Another video... Vegas Racing Events
11Megs, 4m21sec
If you're connected with anything slower than a cable modem, it'll look kinda crappy. Otherwise... enjoy.
Thanks to all who either let me USE the footage or allowed me to FILM your cars:
Fabrizio Leone (Yellow MR2), Thom S. (Mustang), Aaron Tomsich (Red 300zx-TT), Tony M. (Red 911), Chris Barth (Yellow Lancer), Terry (Mini Cooper), Karim Hussain (S2000), Marvin Maize (yellow Vette) Mike (Blue Corolla), Jim Kant (Audi TT, Lola on trailer), Drifters (240sx/Corolla), Eric Gonzales (let me borrow his faster PC), Kazaa, White Zombie (great song), Bowzer (for the opening image of him on a horse...aka Future Get-a-way vehicle), Ken (other guy with camera), Eric Johnson (his dog at end), Conecam (for the camera mount), Megan McGowan (filming me, putting up with me, letting me see her nude) SCCA (for letting me film), and NASA (for putting on great events).
Comments (good and bad) are welcomed. I like knowing what works and what doesn't...

Works well, if you have a relatively fast computer. My 700mhz PC (and a whole 128mb ram) was BARELY running the program. My friend's 1.99g PC was doing a whole lot better (with 256mb ram).

Nice job Kam.
If you have XP, it comes with the Movie Maker program which is pretty straightforward to use. It gives you several different options on how you big you want it to be when completed. I do everything with that now.

I run 6.5 Pinnacle series with 1.2 gig of ram and a 136 gig raid drive.. works flawlessly. Good job over all. Keep at it and you'll see that things will improve radically with your editing.(not criticizing, just stating)

how is that guy at a drag race track with no helmet??
</TD></TR></TABLE>
cause it's a 14second car...
Most drag strips that I know of don't require helmets for cars that are slower than 13.99.
Here in Vegas, we also have something called Midnight Mayhem that is to prevent street racing... they have the loosest requirements. You could have a 10sec car without a cage/rollbar and still run.

Again, awesome video!!!
Again, awesome video!!!
Good video. If you want some clips http://www.iwolfe.com/~markw/ There's some in car stuff in there from holtville, including a spin in a rex to keep from hitting a slower rex.
We need to get a track day at the same time some day.
