18" rims
I recently got 18's.... i havent put them on yet because i am wondering if they will look goofy if i dont get a drop. Should i drop the car or will it look fine without one? what do you think?
I put 18's on mine without a drop, for all of about 2 minutes...they were on for 2 minutes cos it took a while for me to stop laughing at the tractor-like ride height it seemed to have
So yeh, i'd drop it first dude, though feel free to jack the car up and put the wheels on one side to see how they look. You might like it

i see 18s on accords all the time at the dealership i work at it almost looks like they have a small lift and someone put too small of a tire on it. so goofy looking. personally i would never go above a 17"
you people are so funny, its ok to have eighteens, if you get the right ones, most people buy the cheesiest shyte knock-off style wheels which look dumb, so yea, 18's can be whack, on one of my two accords I have 18's and it looks great, i drove the car from NJ to GA and back, and it was just fine, i would also suggest having an H22 with its higher hp for more power if your gonna go bigger than 17, ive gotten nothing but compliments, trust me, its personal preference, if you feel they look good then get em, as far as getting it lowered, you need springs/coil-overs or the car will look stupid...you gotta have em, but yea, make sure you have other wheels, stock or etc to switch em out with if you live in inclement winters...18's go nowhere on snow, trust me! oh, this guy at NOPI nationals last year had this super tight air ride suspension, and had eighteens, it was so cool...but that again, is show...! it all depends on budget and your personal preference!

hey it's cool if he wants 18's, that's his style. i've seen them with 19's before (show car only). but whatever you do, drop the bish or you will be getting hit up for off-road excursions until you do
I dont get that comment, 215/35 rubber on 18" wheels has a slightly smaller overall rolling diameter to the stock 15's...it looks like it has a higher ride height due to the smaller profile tyres, but it isnt higher at all
18's are the right size IMO if you dont have a kit, if you have a kit i would go 19's personally...the difference in ride quality between 17's and 18's is negligible

haha, that is the truth, but again, which accord came stock with 18 inch mille miglia hubcaps...your getting too technical bro, i do agree 110%, but at the same time, if you dont have a drop you might as well buy a minivan or something, that **** will look slightly homosexual, no drop, huge gap, yea man, thats like wetting toilet tissue to simulate a rim job...!
18' too big for any accord?

18' rh evo m7000's on my car. i dont think its too big. IMO anything lower than 17's on an accord (besides stock) looks wierd.
and yes it will look funny w/o drop. the wheel gap will be huge along with the cars overall height/clearance off the ground.
aaaallll04 , if you are looking for a good set of springs to drop your car I'm selling a set of Neuspeed Sport springs off my friends 6th gen i4 for cheap.

btw neuspeed sports is what my car is dropped on also.

how wide are your 18''s? because accords look goofy on anything larger than 17''s, and extra goofy if the rims stick out of the fenders. i wouldn't put the 18''s on and get 17''s instead, drop the car about 2'' with the neuspeed race springs (but pair them up with good shocks, i.e., koni), and get a front lip which will give the accord a much more aggressive stance.

I have a set a 18 axis se7en's and they look fine. I am also using coilover's and it looks fine. My tire size is 225 40zr and it fits in the wheel well perfect. I like the way the 18's look for cruizin around but at the track I am running a set of 16's.
just personal preference
for a 6th gen imo 18" is perfect
for 5th gen 17" or 18"
it all depends on the look you want and what you wanna do with your car. but accords are big cars and i think 18" are perfect...lightweight 18's are even better.

Damn....all i got to say is nice ride. I love your paint job, whats it called? IMO since i have a 4dr i would never go any lower than 18s. you need big rims for a big car (accords arent that big but u get the point) and 19s would look beautifull depending wich ones you get.<TABLE WIDTH="90%" CELLSPACING=0 CELLPADDING=0 ALIGN=CENTER><TR><TD>Quote, originally posted by raceACCORDingly »</TD></TR><TR><TD CLASS="quote">18' too big for any accord?
