dont need a tranny by chance do you? i have a freshly rebuilt f22 5 speed w/ welded diff for sale. or, i could swap out the diff w/ my h22 tranny and use the welded diff in my race car.

tranny has all new syncros and 2nd-4th gearsets.

the auto tranny is like a parasite, you lose a lot of hp through it. the 5-spd will be much faster and most importantly, more FUN to drive. also you don't have to worry about slipping auto trannie anymore.

I knew a guy with a 4 puck on his 97 Eclipse rs...its been on for a while and hasnt done any damage, but from here on out your clutch will be either engaged or not...no middle ground or smooth transition anymore. I think that might be why they don't recomend it for street use because it's vastly more agrivating in the type of stop and go traffic, and up hill slow moving driving that we must do every damn day. But if you've got a calm attitude then you should be fine good luck

i had a 4 puck unorthodox racing in my car.. love the fact there was no play in the clutch but it was definitely too harsh for everyday driving...

Not sure what year Accord you have but if it's not a 4th gen, did you also have to cut off and weld the right tranny mount bracket in? Wondering if that's still the deal with the newer Accords...

jiten42 - try a salvage or junk yard for your same car but manual... that's where I got all my parts, nice to have a donor car and take all you need.

Definitely post pics ASAP! Good luck as well! I am planning to swap out my auto for a 5-speed real soon. From what I have heard and read, it isn't too difficult. I have a 5th gen. Accord BTW.

i think it's overkill unless you plan on putting down alot of power. that's alot of extra stress on the drivetrain.
