i know, i was just ******* around but they were simple questions. i'm no ecu expert either nor do i claim to be,
but i do know for a fact that a ecu chip programmed for your MODEL of car along with a vafc is a good idea because the vafc is tuned specifically for YOUR car while the chip is not. also i have both a chip and vafc in my car and with the addition of the vafc i gained 6 whp. (1hr on dyno, more tuning needed)

Action: Put in a VAFC/skunk chip in ECU and turned fuel down MYSELF because the skunk program ran an excess amount of fuel.
Reaction: Took the car past 90 on the highway @ approx. 6 or 7psi and leaned it out. Detonation...melted piston(s). Time to fully rebuild.
Lesson learned: When you get an VAFC or an AFC at that get it proffesionally tuned. Don't **** with the air and fuel unless you seriously know what you are doing!
Plans: Had stock internals...Now it's time for a resleeving job, forged 10:1 pistons, rods, head work and upgrade the turbo. I've got a T3/T4 for sale now...$450.
