OMG, the car is PURE function and the first thing you complain about is the wheel gap (which is cosmetic) !!!
That car is drop dead gorgeous.

lol, this is ot, but i remembered wen the enzo 1st came out, i was at the la auto show, there was a yellow enzo and the workers poped the rear hatch for ppl to photograph the motor, but wen its time for them to close it, they couldnt close it and it wouldnt line up anywhere and sum 1 screamed out loud, "650k spent on the car and cant even close the damn hatch", n then for some reason, security escorted him out. well, yea, thats it, sorry if this was a worthless post.

In all honesty, I'm glad these cars exist, but I really don't think they have any business on the street. That shot of it in traffic looks sad and depressing to me. So much technology, power, style, being used as a mundane people hauler. Somehow, the only place that car looks at home is standing still, on a dais, behind a velvet rope. Not really my idea of what a car is for, but I am not really in their demographic now, am I?

you are right because mine wouldnt be a showroom ferrari. I would take that shiz out on track.
btw, Ferrari 360 Challenge cars are cheaper to buy than a used 360.
Favorite quote when we took the tour of Ferrari of Washington
Gerald: "so with Ferrari's recent success in F1 as well as them getting into sportscar racing, are more of your clients coming in interested in driving track days in their cars?"
Dealer/Salesman: "No. They just want a Ferrari. Not interested in racing"

Then what is the point of owning the car in the first place? $700k attention-getting ***** replacement? bah.
and i gaurantee you that car would redline first gear on an autoX course

The point of that car is for real track racing, not around cones in a big parking lot. That car is ment for Texas Motor Speedway, VIR, Sears Point, Nurburgring, etc.
Don't get me wrong, I love Auto-X, but that car is made for the REAL track.

Show me one on a real track, and I will tell you that there is at least one of these things that has been produced for a purpose other than making men with thick gold chains feel better about themselves.

There was an Enzo at VIR last month being tested for some magazine, or so I heard from one of the Spec E30 guys. It had already done a track event at Sebring as well, and the front brakes were fried by the end of the VIR test... it was something like $30k for new pads/rotors IIRC
All second hand, perhaps someone can confirm-
Jon
who will be seeing way more than $700k
worth of Ferraris with dear old dad on Sunday (see sig)
