I had no idea Mugen was involved with Drag racing.

can't be for F1. FIA rules state that all current F1 cars must use V10s. i think the only team using a Honda motor is BAR. Jordan switched to Ford Cosworth power.

Well that's cute, when a V8 is labeled "Mugen" everyone on here is pressed on it, but Chevy V8 swaps are available in abundance and I don't see anyone doing that. LS1 (Camaro/Vette engine) in an Integra coupe or sedan or Prelude would be sweet.

Yup, all current F1 power plants mast be v10, N/A and no bigger than 3L. Back in the early 90's there was no rules against v8's or v12's like the Ferrari made. As the years went on most teams realized that the v10 had better heat dissipation then the v8, and the v10 stood up to vibrations better than the v12, best of both worlds. Before those engines the engine of choice was a good old IN LINE 4, turbo of curse. In the turbo era Lotus developed an all magnesium 1.5L 4cyl that had a helicopter compressor fitted on it, boosting over 4 bar(that’s around 50psi) it made like 1500-1600hp depending on the fuel used. That makes the B16 look big and makes even the Dart block look like a Geo Metro engine in comparison. Crazy **** isn’t it, the more info I find about F1 cars the more unbelievable it gets. Did any one know that since gold is the best heat dissipater the area between the driver and the engine is lined with gold? yup.

now your talking. i think that could be doable.
that would be great. have a different model s2k with the nice small displacement high reving v8.
honda could have something real SWHEET
