Anyone have any opinions on the Tanabe DTM? If you say nay, what would you recommend (DTM style)?

 

This is one of the LOUDEST exhausts I've heard on a Prelude, probably only an N1/Racing Medallion less the silencer would be louder. I could not live w/ it on a day-to-day basis, but it is attractive and Tanabe quality is excellent, and my friend Stephen found an improvement in his 1/4 mile times w/ this over a custom mandrel-bent w/ dynomax. It will smoke up your bumper. I would strongly suggest you find someone w/ this exhaust and ride in the car (in town and on highway) before you commit to one.

i love that look on the ludes.....but their not that loud man....cause its a pretty big canister instead of the N1 style....is that thing a straightthrough design like the n1 's?

I think you should get the Tanabe DTM exhaust. I think they look good the 5th Generation Preludes, expectially if you have a back lip or body kit.
