subaru stuff
I'll ask the usual questions:
What form of competition are you planning on?
What class?
Do you have any current mods?
What are your plans for the car?
Did I miss anything .RJ?

Try http://www.nasioc.com, http://www.rs25.com, those are primarily for Imprezas, but you might find something of interest there. http://www.i-club.com is another one.

I agree. This was fairly random.

somehow i doubt that you are even following the thread but ill give you my advice anyway
KYB AGX struts, GC coilovers.
Even rate springs front to rear. Something around 400/400. Tweak to taste
Cusco, MRT, or Tein pillowball camberplates.
Whiteline front swaybar, rear adjustable swaybar (get the biggest available...24mm i think)
WRX brakes (only need the rotors and caliper bracket)
get some WRX (or other 16") wheels with the 215/16 azenis
alignment: -2.0 camber in front, -1.3 in the rear, 0 toe all around.
add all that up and you have one badass 4door tarmac terror.
add catback, borla headers and cobb cams if you want a little extra power.
then r0ll WRXs on track
rinse. repeat

I have a lot of respect for very good Saturn drivers. Don't be fooled by them. They can be very competitive.
I learned a lot from TeamSCR, and SPS about brakes, fluid, oil, tranny fluid and suspensions setups.
Unlike the Honda/Acura world where they are many aftermarket companies where 80% of the parts out there are ****. You really have to research which parts are the best. But with Saturn's, with a relatively few companies comparably, you KNOW whats good. And you KNOW what's bad.
My wish a few years ago was when the new L-Series mid-size sedans came out, that Saturn should have put in that 2.2L four into a SC. That would have rocked!

I've rolled plenty of M3's and arrs and other 'faster' machinery in my nearly stock SC2. It really is all about the driver, but dont forget those cars weigh 2200-2350 lbs depending on year and trim level. I really like the car but it is time to move on.... i'm looking at buying a GSR for track use/schools.
