Default Driving and handling on....???

215 45 17? What would be the side effects on using this tyre size when compared to stock 195 55 15, apart from a higher top speed? I figured that I'll be out by about 15mm in diameter!

What about 235 40 17 ?

???

Use 205/50/15 or 215/45/16 Azenis.

Short of R compounds there is no alternative.

The once I mentioned are Dunlop Formula R D01J tyres. These are basically street legal race tyres. Where I am we can't get Azenis..

I'm struggling on traction so need to find tyres that are close to slicks but still road legal and these are the ones I can get.

How would this size affect cornering stability as the overall tyre is much bigger than stock?

I'd go with a 215/40/17 if I HAD to use 17 inch wheels.

ummmm unless you have a widebody kit, those 235's ain't going to fit up front unless you plan on just going straight. I think the 215's should be ok. I had 205/17/40 on my Volks and the handling was a little sloppier due to the heavier wheels and smaller sidewall.

I'm currently using Eagle F1 225 35 17 which I think is giving me better cornering ability but its for launching. Anything more than 3krpm n I ain't goin anywhere

How many drag cars do you see with low profile tyres?? zero

you're never going to get any launch grip with 17's on an Integra - that's a +2 conversion from stock - sidewall height is much too short for grip.

Try 15" rims with drag slicks

Are you asking about tires for cornering or for drag racing?

Its mainly for road use so gotta be street legal and have good cornering abilities and I will be doing some drag racing, so trying to get a tire that is the best or compromise of both worlds.
