Default HOUSTON DRIVERS NEVER GO TO JOHN EAGLE ACURA FOR SERVICE

Ok Ok, even though this was a while back ago, I figured Id tell this since I have nothing to do. I had a clutch problem awhile back ago, so I decided to take it in to the dealer to see what was up. Eric Younger, the service advisor, told me I had to replace the clutch disc, ot bearings, flywheel, etc. He gave me an estimate of 1500-1700. I gave them a go ahead without checking around, but then I was like WTF (first manual)? So 1/2 an hour I try to call back, and the receptionist told me to leave a message with the advisor, only Eric didnt call me back or stop the progress on the car. So when I did talk to him, he said if I wanted to stop the work and put everything back, I would have to pay the 2hrs on what was started and 2hrs for putting everything back. So I had no choice to get it done there, without looking for an aftermarket clutch (I did have an ACT clutch in there). Then I called around the other dealerships to check for prices and the lowest estimate I got was 1130...and the highest was 13??. He was charging me like around 750 for parts which was robbery, while the rest would charge $100 less. And their labor was just as outrageous! Eventually he worked with me on the price....and it came out to be around 1300. $1770 altogether since I bought a new bra, maintenance, trunk tray. I don't know.....I still feel like I was cheated, since I had no choice to get it done there, even though it was his fault for not calling me back ASAP. What do you think? And also, I have starting problems every now and then, when I never had the problem before I took it in? I talked to him awhile back and he said it could be a saftey switch, but I got the clutch replaced like 2000 mi ago. What should I do?

Semi-bad service, RipOff prices, and assuming the job wasn't done correctly = Unsatisfied Customer = Never going back. DONT GO TO JOHN EAGLE ACURA AND ERIC YOUNGER FOR SERVICE!
