Sony Xplod Subs any good???

Just wondering if anyone here had any feedback on these subs. They're going for great rates on Ebay right now. (ie- $99 for 2 12's) and they retail here in Las Vegas for atleast twice that.

i know places that do buy one get one free, the new series is decent, but the old ones sound like ***
