I got a simple suspension question... Anyone anyone??
I am posting this for a friend who has a '86 CRX and he wants to iniciate in road racing. And I guess this is a good car for it.
But we got a problem...
How do you get the front suspension slam it to the grownd and be hard at the same time?.. Does anyone knows if there is an aftermarket torsion bars for this application?? ... Does anyone have an idea or done this before in the same car??
Does anyone knows where can we find better anti sway bars for this car??
The only good thing that we got was the Yellow adjustable Koni shoks.. It did inprove the handling a lot, but with the car smashing to the ground and with stiffer suspension I will bet that will corner like a mouse.
Any help would be gladly appreciate.
Thanks...

You dont want to be on the ground and road race..
1- to much camber will cause loss of traction.
2- to low you will have extreme rubbing in a hard corner
3- If you suspension is to stiff you could pull a wheel off the ground causing loss of traction (unless you have expensive R-compound race tires.)
4- Stiff suspension will also cause the car to loose traction under hard cornering its better to have a softer suspension for roadrace. See if you can find last months Super Street anywhere. They had an article on roadracing suspension setups.
Good luck with a torsion bar system I would be lowering it to much and put some good shocks on it and find a good set of soft tires for traction. If he had a newer setup with the coils in front he'd have much better luck because he could go with a coilover.
