Thats what I was about to say. I didnt want to drop it too much because I plan on putting some 17's on it down the road sometime. What do you think? Maybe 1.5 front and back?

Sounds like a job for Eibach Pro-kits... just be ready to get new dampers eventually, since the stock dampers eventually blow when lowered after 6-12 months.... Not to worry, though, there should be some good options for new dampers coming out by fall....hopefully...
On stock wheels it looks a little goofy. I've got a set of 16" Gunmetal (pretty soon bronze) Team Dynamic Motorsport wheels that look really good. Right now I'm sitting on Tein SS coilovers sitting at about 2.5" front and rear. They'll go 2.7f and 3.8r but that gets pretty annoying for street use. I'd only get coilovers if you plan on autcrossing or roadracing your car though. Here's mine:

agree 100%

What would look better would be a more agressive track. The EP body just swallows most wheels and completely inhales the stock 15's.
every time i see one of these cars dropped and i wonder why they look so damn goofy, well i figured it ou, its because they are basically ricer shaven, they have no definition or detail to the side panels, looks how its just a piece of metal, no lines or curves or anything, i dunno thats just my .2

With you saying that, I can come to the conclusion on how some people see the body of the car "swallowing" up the wheels.
It doesn't appear to be that way on a DC5 but it has a few more lines plus the body isn't as bulky as the EP3 and it's on slightly larger wheels.
Slammed on 17s do justice on the appearance area for the EP3 IMO.
