Default 96-98 99-2000 motor

any main difference btw type r motors in those years? i am getting a offer 4500 for full swap on a 96-98 spec with only 22000 miles

98 j- spec R has a bit more aggressive intake cam (ctr), like the 01 itr
also tranny has the 4.789FD and 4-1 jdm header

yeah the intake cam is different, also I dunno if this is "engine" related. But i believe the 00-01 itr's ecu has an immobilizer and the 96-98 ecu's did not.

98Spec has the better 4-1 header.
