There must be a few around 'here' who've done it, or tried it. It may be possible with good CC shape, no sharp edges, and not too much advance.. but, technically, I think you'd be a bit high.

Read this and tell me what you think:

I would think you'd want to run 114 in her... In all reality it depends on the tuning of the car. If there are people that can run 13:1 on 92 then logically speaking you could run 15:1 on 110. Tuning is EVERYTHING!

I run 12.5:1 slugs with the head milled .065 i dont know what compression that is but i know that its close to 15.1. I did a compression test on it after i broke it in and it had over 300psi of compression i dont know how much over because the gauge only reads to 300psi..... Point being i run my car on 112 and i have run it on 100 octane before with no probs. so i think it should be fine.

Any idea what your timing advance was when you were using the various octanes? I think engines with decent management (knock sensors, etc) just adjust if you use lower octane fuel than they like -- so you may not notice except on a timed event or a dyno?

On my set up I use TEC2 EMS. My timing was at 30 degrees at full throtle i ran the car on the street and at the track i ran 100 pump gas because i ran out of my 112. The car ran a bit leaner on 100 but no knock or det.. I put 10 gal. in it and ran it all out with no prob.
