Light bulbs dilemna...
okay, i have a 98 integra and i have a thing for headlight bulbs and turnsignal bulbs. Headlights- i want great visibility and still look good when looking at the car. bumper lenses- all bulbs to match the headlights (closest), and most importantly have both of the bulbs match and be REALLY bright (the wedge bulb and dual fillament bulb) i have gone through a few different bulbs like the Nokya artic blue and the visibility is crap and are really too blue, I have PIAA platinum HID style now and they are O.K. kinna spendy for the same look from cheap bulbs. then for the bumper ones i got matching PIAA Xtreme white HID style and they do not match at all! im just curious as to what bulbs any of you have and are happy with. that look good and perform good. and for the most part match.
sorry for the novel... oh and i did search, nothing matched
thanks.

If you're willing to spend the money get the Philips HID kit for around $500. You get great visibility and it'll match your car w/ no problem. Other imitation bulbs that claim HID lighting are crap. Enough people have had bad experiences w/ the PIAAs and the others (hyperwhite, Eurolight, etc) are really not worth the money.
If you can't afford the real HID kit, go w/ the OEM bulbs from Sylvania. They give you the best visibility.
As for the wedge bulbs, try Raybrig.

I've gone through many many set of bulbs..from sorry *** Eurolights to no good PIAA superwhite or whatever...costs a tons and didn't do crap. I'm telling you, shell out the $500 and get real HID system. If you get PIAA, it's like $100 a set which is 1/5 of it already. HID is much better output (brightness), HID appearance (duhh it's real), and will last the lifetime of your vehicle..maybe even longer. It fit right in...if you sell your car, unplug the unit and plug in your stocks...I have HID on my car and I have no complaint whatsoever..the search is over! If you buy those filament bulbs, you will end up replacing them in a few months..wasting your money.
As for those wedge bulbs for your corners, get PIAA superwhite or RayBrid (sp?)..they are the closest to HID appearance.

thanks for the good relpy's, yea i actually might get the Philips HID. it sounds like a good deal (alot of money but a good deal)
as for the corners, what 2 bulbs have matched the same for you? i mean does anyone make any that match or is there always going to be a color difference?

okay, im really pissed... i just went out to see the difference between the PIAA platinum HID style ones (54$ originally 75 bucks cuz i get a discount) and my old Sylvania cool blues(20 bucks). there is absolutly no difference whatsoever exept the little words PIAA on the piaa bulb. im pretty pissed and going to return them all 2morow and look into the HID kit. PIAA is over rated and i think the only thing that is worth while buying from PIAA is thier fog lights for trucks because they look pretty sweet. i would never buy any of thier bulbs again.
I tried PIAA's Super white bulbs, and I found that they are much brighter than the stock bulbs.. Yeah, they ARE like $60 but they did their job, and I'm happy with them. Are they the ones you're talking about?
