Walker O2 Sensors
Ok everyone! After having a struggle with an universal O2 sensor from Autozone, I finally discoverd oxygensensors.com. I purcahsed one for my '96 Accord LX for $80 on their website. Put it in the other day and no CEL yet! I was surprised how well made this sensor was; it look just like the stock one, wire covering and all. If anyone needs an O2 sensor, check out their website. To me, it was better than paying over $200 for the one from Honda. If anyone is interested in pics of how they look, let me know.
If only I've seen this post a week earlier ....
A week ago I've paid $150 for the original!!!
It seems that all sensors are the same, it's just the brand that put's a different price tag I think.
Well, at least now I can step on the gas without worrying about the catalyzer getting clogged.
Kudos !!

Having a bad sensor will eventually lead to bad gas mileage. Here it is a week and a half later and still no CEL! My gas mileage seems to have went up. I think I might have even picked up some lost HP/TQ, also. I will try to post pics ASAP.
I had CEL code 41 for more than a week which means the circuit is open and the injector is dumping a lot of fuel in the cylinders all the time and eventually this will clog the catalyzer.
In this period I didn't dare floor the pedal nor even pass a bicycle.
I just kept behing the traffic but sometimes I just had to step on it risking my cat, but the car just wouldn't accelerate like before, I felt like I had a trailer hooked on the car and you could even smell the strong exhaust fumes processed by the catalyser.
You could even see the fuel meter going down !!!
Since then I left the car in the garage until I had the new sensor.
After the change, the car seemed alive, had a lot better milege even when I stepped on the gas, the engine seemed much smoother and better syncronized... just wonderful !!!
You won't regret it !!!

all this good news, is this just because its a walker o2 sensor or will the usual replacement work just as fine? i need one but im really trying to get the cheapest one as long as it works fine... anyone got any ideas?
Would the walker sensor work on a '94 Honda? The link says '95-'97, i don't know what the difference would be.

Okay everyone, I have an update for you all. Howver, I have some bad and good news. The bad news is that my computer crashed about a week ago and all my pics that I had taken of the Walker O2 sensor, and other various pic, were erased. The somewhat good news is that I took some more pics of it last night while it was still on the car. In any case, these sensors resembled the stock units to the point. Here are the pics. Sorry for them being so crappy. Hope these help out.
This photo came out really bad. Sorry!
