p28, wiring diag + question

Default p28, wiring diag + question

Ok first of all:

This is a picture of the y8 head, I think this is what is what:

1.EACV
2.Vtec Oil Pressure
3.Knock Sensor OR Purge Control Solenoid??
4. Vtec Solenoid

Ok Now I got a 93 wiring diagram from the haynes manual and highlited the wires im going to have to pin into the ECU:

Please make sure this is all correct before I do it and mess it up, also let me know if 3 is Purge Control or Knock.

Try a search... not to long ago I think SPADE posted WD for a handful of ECU's.

Yeah I have his diag. too, but look, there is no IACV in this one from the book, it is EACV, is this the same thing? Also, I only have 1 unidentified set of wires it is either the knock sensor or the purge control, how do I know which it is? Also, look on the wiring diagram I have here, it shows pin A9 going to that #4 thing and then to the EACV and then from there to Junction Conn C125. What is the #4 and what is the junction connector?

#1 is an IACV for a 92-95 EX at least. #2 is right and so is #4. I'm pretty damn positive that #3 is the ECT sensor, not a knock sensor or Purge. Knock sensor if there is one on at that engine is on the back of the block. Purge Control would be on the IM.

As for the wiring to the ECU... use that hybrid site with the correct pin outs on the ECU. From that diagram I can't tell whats going on and I haven't looked at my friends EK harness to see if its different than that of the 92-95's.

Honestly I'm still lost on whether or not you still have to wire the plugs into the sensors 1-4 and if you're trying to run those to the pin outs on the ECU or if they are already wired up and you just need to extend them to the ECU plugs.
