Color Carbon Fiber Hood
The other day, I saw a Civic Si with a blue and white weave carbon fiber hood. It really made the 2000 Civic Si cool, plus it was more low key, yet agressive. I have a white car and wouldn't mind if there was a white weave out there. Anyone know of any such thing?

Actually, I've seen yellow/black hoods as well.
What I'm wondering is who even sells them in the first place. That way I can ask them if they carry white.

That can be done. I met a guy that had a body shop shoot his carbon fiber hood with red paint and clear. It came out a dark burgondy color, that was pretty close to his 240's stock paint, so it worked out. I'm sure there are companys out there that offer colored weave

I remember when show cars were sporting huge 18-19 inch wheels instead of Spoon and Mugen wheels, and roll bars were for safety, not hanging amp racks on, whats your point?

rrrriiigghht, but how does that help this guy find an answer to his question. I hear where you're coming from, and I agree. I bought my hood 3 years ago to drop some weight from my fat pig Si hatch, and don't care how it looks, but times are changing. People like what they like, and right now I see EVERYTHING in cf, including headliners and door skins?!?

rightfully so, this is just my opinion. Its not on my car, so i really dont care, but I think its rediculous to see every buying parts for the wrong reason. But Hey, thats what keeps all these companies in business. The bandwagon.

Exactly! My function is to be a sleeper. So I find a same color CF hood, or I find a bad quality CF hood and have a body shop paint it to match my car.
