used cams question

does it really matter how old and used they are?

When certien bad things happen to motors, the cams can start to wear (i imagine from alot of miles too). If they have any wierd lines/grooves, best bet is to take it to a shop and get them checked out.

im going ot have to be the party pooper on this one. But.... Jun/Toda/Spoon make parts for circuit racing which tend to wear quick, they are made to run real strong for a few races. Unless u had those cams throughly checked before purchase, id be a lil concerned.

yo i wasnt trying to be a dick, u just might not have known that info. U should get the spec on the cams in new condition and somehow get the cams in question looked at and compared to thos specs.

That's a lot of miles. Just like most internal parts, mile will put wear and tear in them. Hope it's a good deal. Like Nextekhatch says, get them checked out and compare them to spec.
