With my setup, I saw good gains with headwork.

I'm happy w/ my Portflow head, so yes, to me it was worth it. No one else can answer for you, if it's in the budget and you are running big cams you will probably like the results. Nice avatar, BTW .

You should try some CNC Ported Head. They are 100% machine done for the most accuracy possible. They are so good, last I recall, there was a 20HP guarantee.

Meaning if you have camshafts, adjustable camgears, and, and an upgraded valvetrain, moving all of those from a stock head to a CNC Ported Head will yield you 20HP.

Cost is around $1000 - $1200, but well worth it.

with a mostly stock motor, definetly not. your money would be better spent getting cams n' upgrading the valvetrain. after that, then yeah...definetly worth it

do you think a stage 1 or 2 porting would be worth while on a stock B18C5 w/ the compresion raised to 11:1 w/ fuel and cam tuning?

Uhh...i dont know where you got the stage 1 or 2 porting from, but...it depends whats included in each job. If it were only a slight port job, not really, because the ITR and CTR come w/ factory port jobs. if you have a b18c5...shiet, sell those cams to me, and go buy some skunk2 II, jun III or toda c's. then that motor will really produce some power
