Default crx + Z6 + Greddy kit = needed Place Racing cross member?

I found a good price for the cross member and the brackets to hold the 92+ civic radiator. Is it really necessary to get the cross member and radiator to run the greddy kit? Anyone ever do this? Thanks!

Assuming it is an 88-91 CRX, you should be able to just knock a small chunk out of the x-member to fit the downpipe. Unless you really want the x-member and rad, I vote for skipping it.

The greddy mani/turbo/downpipe will clear your cross member fine. A buddy has one on his rex and it bolted right up to the cat.

You shouldn't need any of that stuff, if I were you and wanted to get a new Xmember get a jimfab. IMO place racing fabricated products are well not very well constructed, some of thier early x members would break terribly.across the bushing.
