The Neuspeed spring rates aren't as good as H&R, but H&R drops too much (2.5" drop on my car). I say
to both of them, save for some custom-rate Ground Controls.

I know man, but on my car the H&R Sport springs dropped my car about ~2.5"... even more in back because of the Koni spring perch. That's why I think they suck, because their spring rates are not nearly high enough for that much of a drop.
And no they did not sag. They have been this low since I first installed them over a year ago.

that looks just like mine did when my konis were on stock perch heights (slightly higher in back). that looks like about a 2.5" drop in front and 2" in back (going by the measurements I took from a stock GS-R awhile back).

Oh yeah? You wouldn't be saying that if you were driving around w/ a 3" drop and only 276lb/in of spring supporting the car, bottoming out all the time.

this is my car on nuespeed race springs. if these have a stiff rate then i would not get them cause the damn car is low as ****. no finger gap with stock shocks and stock rims and tires.

if you're that low, stiff rates is what you need to keep the car from bottoming out. That's my whole problem w/ the H&R Sport springs. My car is about as low as yours, but the spring rates are about half what yours are.
But stock shocks is a bad bad idea for those springs, you need something like Koni Sport shocks to handle those.

i've had the h&r sports on my car for almost 3 years now...still riding on stock shocks...hehehe. so far my shocks are still holding up pretty well for daily driving. if the spring rates arent that great for the drop, what springs would you suggest other than coilovers? i just want an opinion cuz i'm thinking of getting ground controls once i get the money.
H&R will give you better handling due to the higher spring rate, neuspeed has a lower one. But, H&R still rides good I have them on my car! Rides like stock, and I'm still on stock shocks! They've never blown !
