Ok, this is my first post here so if it's been asked before (I did a brief searc) please don't rape me.

I'm wondering about the hatch supports on my 90 si. They don't hold the hatch up at all. I've seen pictures of self supporting hatch (without something to prop em open with like a stick, lol) but I've never actually seen one in person. Every CRX I see the supports do nothing, like they aren't even there.

If anyone has any ideas let me know: Like where to buy replacements or suitable replacements to steal off of some other car. Thanks for the help.

 

i bought some from consumer auto parts (CAP) here in MA. i know autozone sells replacements, too, but they were a bit more. try pep boys as well.

 

I bought mine at autozone for like 40 dollars. They work perfect.

 

bought mine at Kragen...any autoparts store should have me...and if you live in the cuts and dont have one around you...buy them on an online store...easy

 

Hey do you remember how much they were at CAP? I travel through Mass for work frequently so they wouldn't be out of the picture. I'll actually be traveling through this weekend.

Also, is there anything special I should be looking for when I purchase some or are they just standard CRX replacements?

i think $20-$25 per side.

and they are standard replacements. i had no problems replacing them with the ones from CAP.
