Default anymore news about the pour in aluminum stuff?

Some time ago someone used some type of pour in aluminum epoxide as a block guard. I was thinking about using this stuff to "post" the cylinders. Has anyone heard any bad news about using this stuff?

I saw that post. the guy pulled the engine. filled it with some sort of sugar or stuff that would wash out easy... and poured that stuff in till it was almost full, mixed the liquid and poured the paste in.. claimed it worked good.. then drained out the grains of sugar/salt...

Don't know how well it worked.. cuase I never saw a post about how it worked after he got it back together...
