Use a hand jack first in the front or back, then use a hydraulic jack.

lift the back end up with a hydrolic jack then put it on a lift (if thats what u want to do) if you just want to take the tires off or something, use a jack that comes stock in cars.

cool i never thought of drivin it on 2x4s. but....if its an inch off the ground....my friends got a kit on his car and hes gonna put his coilovers all the way down before this show next week, and he doesnt know how to jack it back up afterwards, we estimated the fbumper would be about an inch off the ground.

pull up on boards or something to raise it up off the ground enough to get the jack under it

Use the stock jack and lift it up high enough till a real heavy duty jack can fit under and take over.

I have 3 pieces of 3/4" plywood, each one prgressively shorter than the one below it. I stack those up and then drive one tire up onto it like a ramp. Then I can get my floor jack underneath the radiator support w/ ease.

Oh and I hope your friend gets those coilovers back to exactly where they are before the show, because any and all changes in ride height will affect alignment settings, including toe-in AND camber.

btw do you have pics of your air setup in the car? i just got 2 compressors and 2 tanks and need ideas to fit that with 2-4 12s for my show car.

check out street source (link in my sig). wander around in the forums there and you'll learn alot about adj. susp. and where the best place to buy stuff.

good luck, this **** is FUN!

Whatever you do, make sure you slam the car at the show. If you slam and drive around on that, something in the street, (pothole, steel plate covers, bumps) is going to rip your car apart. Just a quick lookout
