At 18psi, I am thinking 720cc is a better/safer way to go for a H series.

when is 550 not enough and 720 needed?

i am going to pick some up, but wouldnt 720 be overkill if was only running 7-12 psi now?

edit: read firedrake post, I plug in 350 hp at the crank, 4 cylinders and .60 fuel comsumption and it ask for 550cc. since you goin for 400hp defenitely go higher than 550.

Man, it never ceases to amaze me how much people underestimate their fuel needs!! The calculators at http://www.rceng.com really do work! Put in the numbers and they will let you know what you need.......
I would never go with less than 720's on an H motor. You should already have proper fuel management anyways (Hondata or AEM) so getting big injectors to idle fine should be no problemo. I run 780's and they're great.

I was actually thinking about a VAFC piggyback/hack. And just a Q' out of the blue: Has the 720's greatly affected your mpg?
