First off, let me say i am looking for a chip program, not hondata. So far i have seen Kenji, IH8RICERZ, http://www.hyperducktuning.com, and JDMhondaparts tuning chips.

I have a couple questions about these chips. Is there a difference between socketing an ECU and chipping it?

I'll use my motor as an example, right now i have all the bolts ons, (intake, manifold, header, cat, exhaust) Could I get a chip for those mods, but also get a chip for a motor w/ cams higher comp. and redline, so that in the future I could switch out the chips when I pop in the cams/pistons I have.

I have read all the reviews about Kenji's ECU program, and it seems nice, but I want to also get everybodys opinions about the other ECU chips out there.
