not many mods; amber corners, neuspeed races, teg wheels on toyos, cd player/changer, ex cluster, short shifter, other small sh*t.

I have an opportunity to trade this for a bone stock 89 crx si. He is going to trade me the car plus cash. The problem is I don't know how much cash is fair. Anybody got any ideas?

 

depending on the shape of both cars..it's kind of subective. Make sure it's an amount that you'll be happy with as well as him.

It could be anywhere between 500 and 2000 bucks

 

Why are you getting a CRX instead?

I would pass on the CRX. It would be great to pick up as a 2nd project car, but not as your only car IMO.

 

miss my old crx. bought hatch for the wife and she doesnt want it. So off it goes.

i know id hate to go back in time (body style wise)
i like your car how it is now. keep it and get a swap. if your low on cash, just b16a 1400 and the 135 for the tranny conversion mount.

if u have some money id either build a b18c. or type r motor.
if u have alota money build an ls/turbo.

think 4K and u will have 380whp... how fun!

u can have a nice car, and still be the fastest in your streets

 

I say finish what you started! Unless you needed the cash for some reason, why bother with the whole thing.

 

I paid $2k for my '92 CX. 107k miles. Starting to mod it.

 

if you are dragging or auto-x get the crx, if you are daily driving or road racing in which you will be seeing higher speeds keep the civic hatch. a bseries in either one will haul, but the crx will not be stable turning at high speed with such a short wheelbase and light chasis. my .2

I think you should just keep the eg. You can make it about as light, and there are more aftermarket parts for it.

Okay, thanks everybody for the input. I don't know what the f@*k I was thinkin anyway. I will be trading my hatch but not for a crx. Workin with jcstites to trade for his coupe. Keepin with an eg, just gonna try a car that has a trunk.

Keep your hatch. I would never trade my 92 Si for an 89 CRX....keep your car and drop a new motor in it

Yeah man you really need to keep your car. It looks good! CRX's are UGLY!! But thats just my own opinion.

crx = very hard to find parts for.
