Default big gap on sportlines?

So me and my friend just swapped his cheap coils for eibach sportlines....and it's a huge gap? springs are used so they should already be settled? what's going on? we made sure the springs are correct..front to front, rear to rear....wierd? The rear looks good, but the front is lookin' funny...here are some pics...

Thanks for any help since I don't know what's going on here. If it doesn't settle or anything, I guess we can pull the suspension and re-check it to see if anything is wrong.

Well Sportlines are suppose to only drop 1.7 front and 1.5 in the back, if ive heard correctly. Looks like a sport spring drop to me...

Yeah, I know the drop shouldn't be low...but the front is like way higher than the rear...looks funny.

the bump stops hardly get touched it has nothing to do with how the car sits. My friend's car is lower and has stock bump stops untouched and his car sits lower then urs. Bump stops are exactly that. They prevent the shock from blowing when u hit a bump they stop the suspension travel.

Wrong bro... it does make a difference... yea you are right about that they prevent the shock from blowing... but if not cut... the springs will sit on the bumpstops... making the ride higher... had first hand experience with my car... when i had progress springs installed the first time... my friend that helped me install them forgot to cut them, then i got shocks and then i found out they werent cut, and had them cut... before the cut my front would fit 2 fingers but after the cut only one finger. Although only a finger... it made a difference in ride quality

I don't see how the bumpstops would interefere with anything unless the strut piston washer was resting on them? Maybe they might make your car ride crappy if they aren't cut and the strut hits the bumpstop prematurely. I know my car doesn't rest on the bumpstops, I cut them in half, and it's lowered about 3 inches all together. But even if I hadn't I couldn't imagine it resting on the bump stops. Yikes!

I don't want to sound like an ***, but are you sure you put the front springs on the front? ETC? I've seen many sportline drops, it's usually pretty clean, but yah you got a huge fender gap up front. Getting the springs reversed would most likely do that

Ahh I just now read this. After I looked at the picture again it started looking more normal to me. The fender gap in the front isn't that much bigger than the back, maybe quarter of an inch. But if you look at stock suspension its the same way, bigger gap up front. I think it looks pretty decent to be honest. Maybe nothing is wrong?

something is wrong. if you told me that it was a prokit then yeah that would sound right but not a prokit. have someone else look at it, sometimes someone else can see something that you missed. it happens all the time.
