i think the whole rice or not thing on h-t is very high school and its a group mentality type thing. if you like your car and it is put together correctly than to you,thats all that matters. to me rice is lots of stickers, big aircraft spoilers on 91 toyota tercels, which makes the driver think he is mario andretti. rice is not always the way a car looks its also a state of mind. JDM is rice.
i bought the prelude before i joined h-t and had intentions of more go than show.

no i meant that the quickness to call a bodykit or 18's rice is a high school mentality. in that its a h-t band wagon. i don't like a lot of bodykits and after personal experience i know that its a waste of time and money. BUT i formed that opinion on my own. not because a mod or H-T vet. said it wasn't cool.

the majority of people that will say an "aggressive" bodykit is rice will praise your jdm headlights. jdm is a bandwagon just like bodykits and nawzzzzz(fnf) turned into. My mentality is to buy something that is jdm because its jdm is rice.

I understand what you're saying 93preludevtec, but by saying that every person with Japanese headlights is a bandwagoner, is like saying that every bodykit is ugly, it's just not true. Yes, I have Japanese headlights and Spoon mirrors on my car, but no I didn't pick them up a month ago cause it was the thing to do, I bought them over 3 years ago cause I liked them, just like you probably built your Integra a few years ago, cause it appealed to you. Not everybody is on a bandwagon, including Japanese parts enthusiasts.
