Default just got my car yesterday

i just got a 89 accord, what is the best engine i can put in here? could i fit a b16a or a b18c5?

With accords, most people prefer the 2.2-liter H22A engine from Preludes or the Accord-R. I'm not sure of what engines people put in your body style of accord tho...

accord R motor is a waste of money
h22a's in general are a tough fit in that small bay


i would do a turbo b20 or a b20/vtec in a 3rd gen accord

b16a won't hav enuff torque to haul our heavy *** cars around..neither will any bseries motors for dat matter...unless 89 accords are lighter than 90+?

different generation...B series only if you dont plan to cut/weld alot to get a F or H to fit.

yes, you will go b series and it will do ok for that car

lot better then the a20
or try an A18 the jdm replacement
