Default Clutch and PP recommendations needed

I've finally worn out my stock clutch on my ITR after 3.5 years of solo 1 and lapping events. I'll hopefully be competing in a few regional races within the next 12 months ($$ and time permitting) and am wondering what would be my best bet for a clutch/PP combo based on your own personal experience. Note that this car is trailered to and from events so I don't care about street driveability. Also note that the engine is stock with minor exhaust work.

Thanks.

I'd put a stock clutch in. If it last 3.5 years, its doing a pretty good job.

Good point. The only reason (of course in my opinion) to go to a stronger clutch is for High HP Drag Launches

and at stock power levels a stronger cluch isnt neccessary. You could use an exedy setup since its probably cheaper, but some ITR owners have had problems with them.

That was my initial thought, however, I've heard from fellow competitors with the same car that their OEM PP's have broken. Also I'd like to get the car set up for regional racing by next year at the latest and I'm quite sure that the stock unit will not hold up to the 20-30 minute races. Rather do the job right in anticipation of the abuse components will be subject to under said conditions.

BTW, how many guys on this forum use OEM units? I've driven a couple Civics on the track with mild to major engine work and the aftermarket clutch engagement although harsh in first, is very smooth thereafter.

Its held up for you... and the wear on the clutch shouldnt be any more during a race than a lapping session - unless of course you are hard on it. If there is reason for the OE clutch to break but you install a stronger clutch, then something else is going to break. I'd rather replace the clutch in the off-season than worry about the diff or axles.

If you had IM turned on, we'd talk pricing...
