wow or waste: high flow cat, denso iridium
so what's the consensus? are these a waste of money or not?? will i gain 0.1hp for a couple hundred on a cat? denso: is the jury still out? i don't have money to burn...
If you have a lot of mods N/A or are FI, the free flow cat, preferably 2.5 " can help quite a bit. If you're mildly modded, it prob won't help much.
I just saw a dyno plot of before and after with the Densos making like 5hp. Seems kind of bs, but who knows? Generally, I would say that most ignition mods aren't going to make any power, but they may restore lost power.

hi flow cat only good for over 5000 rpm driving.. as a rough estimate statement.
denso iridium... well, you said you dont have money to burn, so then forget these
got my hi flow testpipe from revolutions, its sick, love it, well worth $80.
the hi flow cats.. catco and such, what, arent they only around $100?

High flow Cats are still way cheaper than the factory rip off prices...$750-$800. If I ever needed to replace a Cat I would definately go with the highflow aftermarket ones just for the 300+% price difference!
Probably won't buy one just for modding though...unless there is sufficent engine work to justify it.
