Default Found a 91 CRX, thinking of getting it.

What do you think?

I want to get for a beater but I dont think I can afford it, or I wanted to trade in my WRX for it, I know it sounds stupid, but I am trying to get rid of it, and this is really the only way I can.

If it is any matter to you, it doesn't look like a SI. Other than that, I'd get it if it were a good deal. How much are they asking?

Only worth that if your a girl who want a crx but can only drive a auto. Looks clean...off topic anyone know why bumpers always get that funky zbra stripe fade on them?

way over priced...if that car is at a dealer, I would hammer them down to $1500, considering they probably own it for $1000

Yeah Dealerships seem to be high-but they now they can get the big $$$ for them.
Heck the one I got was a trade-in at a dealership.I thought long and hard before spending 3,500. for it.I looked around everywhere for others at the time, most had boo-coo miles on them--and still wanted more money for them.Mine only had 69,000 miles on it when I got it.There are less of these cars everyday and the demand is great-so the prices tend to be on the high end.-Heck they were going to put the one I got on the lot for $7,999,go figure-but people were still looking at it once I decided to get it.

CRXs are pretty easy to find in the tristate area. I got my 88si for $1800 in just about mint shape (minor dings, scratches, etc)... its amazing the car is 15 years old.

Thats wayyyy too much. Nick (Johhny Tran) has one running for $1500, and prolly less if you paid cash on the spot.

Damn, that is NICE!!! It is real hard to find one that nice around here, everyone here is either beat or doesnt run. Maybe I should start looking in the Philly area.

The Rex is in very good condition, but I would say that they are smoking the crack they are selling. It is over priced by like 2 grand.

I got my 91 Dx for 700 bucks and it was super clean in and out....looked brand new!!!!!!

Just be patient and you will find one at a reasonable price.....when you least expect it, you will find " The One!"

I paid 4000 for my 90 CRX Si with about the same milage. Absolute perfect body and near perfect interior however... I probably overpaid but I needed a car (my 1st) and it was a price I was willing to pay, right on the blue book at the time too.

That's a harsh rip off for a non-Si, it doesn't even look like it's in that great condition either... the pinstripe is enough to deter me from that CRX already, ewwww..

I will be on the lookout for something cheaper, I think it would make a great beater car and car for the wifey. Hopefully I can find one in the $1,000-$2,000 range, if you know where any are in the philly or reading area let me know!
