Default Crx Problems

I just got my crx and i have a problem. My distributer keeps messing up and once the engine light goes on i can't pass 3000 rpms or the car keeps choking and cuts off on me. If you can help me please post your answers. Thanks

Have you replaced it yet? Sounds like you're in Home Limp Mode.

Not the cap and rotor, I mean the whole distributor. Have you replaced that yet? You can have a new cap and rotor but if your whole distributor is bad you'll still go into HL mode.

Pull up the carpeting on your passenger side floor. Should be held down by some velcro and maybe 1-2 plastic screws. Youll then be able to see your ecu, there will be a small red light that flashes when your check engine light is on, wait for a pause in the flashes then start counting. 1 long flash = 10, 1 short flash = 1. Post what you get and we can help you out.

Let me get this straight. Your car doesn't run but you have a kit, hood, and seats coming....for a car that doesn't run?!!!
