Default Does anyone know.....

does anyone know if i can use '99 lugs on my '96 teg? I got some GSR blades and i went to the dealer to get some locks and he said my lugs wont work, so he hooked me up with some '99 lugs . i was just wondering if it'll be ok to use em on my '96 teg. thanks ya'll

I think you just got ripped off. Lug thread patterns are all the same for any year Integra. And if you've already got your 96 lugs on your car, why would this dealer tell you they don't work??? That doesn't make any sense. Take the 99 lugs back.

no no, he gave me the '99 lugs for FREE . he went to the back and just dug up some from a toolbox. i just dont know if theres a difference between '96 and '99

Well that's cool then, but they are all the same....I'm still confused about why he told you yours won't work. You have lug nuts on your car...they're working! Why do you need new ones?

Just a dumb guess...
Maybe it's not the thread. Maybe it's the shape of the part that makes contact with the seat in the wheel.

Quite possibly true.

Let me ask, did you use to have hub caps?? if you did, well then those lugs would look a little different and stick out farther as well compared to the other lugs.

yeah, i used to have the ugly hub caps on. And yeah, i tried using my lugs and they stick out . Thanks for all the replies
