S2k newbie questions ! Help would be greatly appreciated !
Here's some newbie questions about the S2k. I tried searching and could not find it, anyway...
1. How much hp at the flywheel does the S2k have without the VTEC engaged?
2. At what RPM does the VTEC engage?
3. With Comptech CAI, Comptech header, Comptech cat-back exhaust, how much approx. would the S2k making at the flywheel?
3. Are the Comptech CAI, header, cat-back exhaust CARB approved?
4. How much hp at the flywheel would the S2k gain with the Comptech supercharger?
5. Is the Comptech supercharger CARB approved?

Why are you more worried about at the flywheel hp than at the rearwheels? That's where it really counts. As far as hp #'s your best bet is to save up for the supercharger...gains from other "bolt-ons" haven't been as substantial as on other vehicles. The supercharger can deliver up to 300 hp at the rear wheels.

Look at a dyno plot...depends on the rpms. THere is a dyno plot a few posts down.

Go to comptech site they have Dynos with numbers hp

they say about 280 at wheel so its about 310 at fly
