turbo guys, i think i sparked an idea
We end up doing stuff with a lot of gay DSMs and my buddy has accumulated a ton of parts, among them
14b turbo, 1g bov's, wastegates, has a few starion front mounts layin around
would I be on to something to think I could buy a manifold that fits with the 14b, slap it on, install the starion, have some IC piping fabricated for me, run 4-5psi and tune the fuel using my stock 330cc injectors and my v-afc?
would it hold up?
good idea, bad idea?
this is a, as far as i know, completely stock internals h22a1, i got the big mouth bumper too, that would look SICK with a little fmic resting behind it heh

bad idea, the stock injectors are already close to maxing out on their duty cycles, so you're not gonna a whole lot more additional fuel out them with just the things you mentioned. You'll probably want to raise the fuel pressure to compensate but that usually is not the best way to provide extra fuel (IMO).
EDIT: if you dont want to raise fuel pressure, I suppose you could try geting a additional injector controller (AIC) from a FMAX kit and weld in some injectors in to the intake piping right before the throttle plate. You could then use the VAFC and AIC to fine tune it a little. YOu could probably get an AIC from a FMAX owner that is not using their MF2 ERL (AIC). You can use this method if the VAFC alone will not provide the required fuel for your setup.
