i just dropped 3500 for mine. im sure you would pay less or same amount because they would just reuse your tranny.... the tranny swap would probably run you an extra 500.

then again, we are located in SOCAL. i dont know what the demand for an h22 is out there... but they go pretty good here.

 

socol has a bunch of shops that do high performance work... and engine swaps...

like i said before SOCAL has alot of shops everywhere that do swaps. everyone is out to underprice the h22 swaps. maybe you should consider a cali trip for awhile.
