*SIGH* i only had it for 2 weeks.. and now its already gone... what a waste of money... i admit though, the carbon fiber lip was REALLY nice.. but way to hard to maintain. i chipped/cracked the lip in less than a week.... and now its in a millioin pieces on the Howard Franklin Bridge. This is pretty much what happened...

i was driving like 80mph over the bridge and i was changing lanes and went over this mini dip in the road, and i guess my lip made contact with them stupid reflector thingies along the yellow lines. Next thing i know.. i hear "BOoM CRACK"... i look into the rear view mirror and see a million black pieces flying at cars behind me

so now i'm going to order a Comptech ITR lip, which is what i should've done in the first place! so a word of advice for those who want a CF lip for your usdm integra.. BE VERY CAREFUL!! arghh

 

i've always heard the cf lip are very strong. what brand did you get?

my lip was a spoon replica made by VIS racing, the material looked like ... im guessing fiberglass with carbon fiber weaves on the outside

 

damn that sucks, that happened to me but with a fiberglass lip...

 

My real deal Spoon carbon lip lasted about 8 months of hardcore wear and tear before a possum at 75 mph broke it in half. I cant believe it actually lasted that long from all the **** i used to hit with it. It was tough as hell.

 

my pos abs lip scrap all the time, it hang out too low and sh_t..
it's good that they are so cheap to replace..

Damn i always wondered if that would ever happen. They look like they hang really low, too low for street use....but damn they look so nice

 

oh man.. that blows...i know as soon as i heard my lick crack and saw the million pieces my heart would do the same.. break with it. touch luck man, it did look nice.

word.. my abs lip takes a beating everyday.. scuff the bottom on my driveway everyday since winter and its still on there lookin good

 

nice nice car. it'll still look good with the comptech lip

 

yeapp i still cant believe its really gone.. it got me depressed all day yesterday... and whats worse is, i it broke on the way to the gamblin boat.. which i lost $300

im not sure of my car's drop since im on coilovers.. without a lip, my car's front doesn't even look low really.. but that damn lip makes me like 3 inches lower in the front ...
