Default little trouble bleeding clutch.

well i just finished the motor again and put it in the car. hooked everything up. bled brakes. and i went to bleed the clutch but i bled it for a good 5 min or so and still no improvement but it still squirts fluid. its the same clutch and motor that i had a while back so i know everything SHOULD work. anyone know what else i can check to see whats holding it back from having some pressure.

it has the tiniest(sp) bit of pressure at the very bottom when i press it. i installed the clutch the same way when we did it like 2 months ago, same tool and everthing. all bolts torqued down.

would i just need to keep on bleeding cuz this might be an all night bleeder? i just dont wanna have to take that tranny out again.
clutch line is hooked up.
TIA

wat method of bleeding are you doing?
1. open valve
2. push clutch medal up and down using hand
3. add fluid.
4. close valve.
5. done!

make sure all ur lines are hooked up correctly and check for leaks up under your dash and by the resevoir.

BTW the car has about 60K miles on it. so i doubt anything is worn out.

the method i did was the same as last time i bled.
poured fluid in.
friend sat in car and pumped 5-6 times and held in last pump
opened valve
close valve
friend repeated pumping

and i watched the tank to make sure it didnt go low.

Downey-i will try that method tomorow. i just finished like 30 min ago so i am hoping this is all because i am tired.
thanx fer the help

oh yah. sorry.

yah, it got much better. i tried your method. then i tried doing the way i did it again. both really helped. the method you told me did most of the work i beleive. cuz i might of had more air in the lines than i thought. so my sis was pumping the clutch while i was pouring the fluid in with the valve open (and a hose connected to a bottle).

thanx for the help
