92 CX w/ d16y8
197K on Chassis
70K on motor/trans
VIN: 2HGEH2348NH515549
PICTURES WILL BE UP 06/10!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
I am looking to unload this car fast. Body is in rough shape. It is rusted on the rear quarter panels. Bad on the passenger's side and pretty bad on the driver's side as well. It has the d16y8 from my coupe. The motor is perfect, tranny is also great. The motor has exactly 70707 miles on it. The car has amber corners and the rest is stock. No rear seatbelts and the carpet is in rough shape. Comes with 5 seats. 2 vinyl 96-00 civic seats, 2 stock black vinyl CX seats and 1 95 GSR passenger seat...rear seat is stock black vinyl. Stock 13" steelies. I will throw in 00 Si front knuckles, hubs, and rotors so all you need is calipers to complete a 10.34" front brakes. I may also include a set of 15" wheels and new yokohama AVS ES100 tires if so desired. There are various dents and some scratches on the front and rear bumpers.
The motor needs to be wired up for VTEC and it needs a P28 and a 4 wire O2. I will include the D16y8 Dizzy and alternator as well as a shitload of other parts I have from the car. I will have these soon, but I'm hoping to get rid of this quickly. Get the P28 and O2 and you can drive this car anywhere. It sputters badly using the stock CX ECU and o2 but you could probably get away with driving it a little ways.
BOTTOM LINE: The car needs about $800 to fix the rust. I had plans to get it fixed and was quoted $800 to fix the rust, pull the dents, and repaint the rear quarter panels, hatch, and rear bumper. It needs $110 for ECU + $50 for o2.
FYI: I bought the car a year and a half ago and put about 850 miles on it total in that time. I still owe money on this car so I am hoping to get out of it what I owe..nothing more and hopefully not a whole lot less.
