Default Rear Wiper

Does anyone have a rear wiper plug they want to sell me? My dealership is saying one costs $15 through them. Also, is it really easy to put in and everything? Thanks.

Don't spend ANY money for the plug.

Pop your hood, look on the firewall behind your battery, it's a little to the bottom right corner of your battery, you'll find a black plug, and pop that S.O.B. out then put it in your wiper hole. It fits perfect!

You spend nothing, and you could use some grey duct tape to cover the hole that was on your firewall. I didn't cover mine back because there's nothing behind it. Only if you want to.

The one on your firewall looks nothing different from that one. It actually doesn't even bulk up that much. Take a look at it. It's free after all.

No it's not metal. It's a rubber plug. It pops into the hole nice and snug, so that no water or anything can get inside it. I wash my car with it, and it's been rained on.

It's OEM too.

Fraction of the price? When you can go to the dealer and get the oem one for $15 and you paid $17.50

you guys spend too much money on things like this, just like people who has to buy RS door handles when they take off thier power locks. go to home depot and get a big bolt thats domed at the top. use a corresoponding nut that fits and secure it.

You guys must live in the desert or something, cuz I use my wiper every time it rains, and it rains a lot this time of year...the rear wiper is a lifesaver!

We've had four weeks of WET weather in NY.
The rear wiper did come in handy.

But 95% of the time... its never used.

It rains 12 months out of the year where I live and don't have a rear wiper but I sure wish I did.

apparently, i have been looking in the wrongs places, then. i believe that $15 is for the plug alone. you will need an additional washer and bolt as said before. mike k from naples acura set up a wiper plug kit that cost $20..without the new grommet. so, in the end, i'm talking about saving as much as 2.50..and you're talking about spending as much as 2.50 extra. it's just 2.50. let it go.
