Default First stage of my LS/VTEC is completed!! (56k go grab a beer)

I'm kinda lazy so I'll post whatever I typed on G2IC (Another message board)

Woohoo!! After 5 painful days without my car, it's finally running strong again!! First of all I want to thank Leo (93B18) for selling me his VTEC head; Max (E-DA9) and Dwayne (Phat Power) for helping me throughout this whole buildup and using the garage; Ive (Ive ) for doing the wiring; Richard (93integraRS) for taking his time answer all my questions; Johnny (cspeed) for the cam gears and SS; Ky (DAkey) for lending me his valve cover gasket; and Nikson (J-spec) + Julian to witness the glorious moment.

Enough with the talk, onto the pictures:

Old motor, getting ready to be replaced

All the goodies waiting to go in

This is what the LS guy think about going VTEC

Day2: B17A head anticipating to go in

What we think of the head bolt that took 6 hours to take out

The VAFC and ECU all hooked up and ready to go

Old head is finally off, getting closer (But no cigar yet)

umm.... LS fuel rail won't fit, so AEM takes over

GSR head is finally in!! Woohoo!!

Almost ready!

Me taking out the PS for good (More grease than John Travolta)

Finally, my car has seen daylight!

Beauty shot

My interior

Everytime us 604 work on cars, it's always a small gathering... (Can you say TITE?)

Let's just say my car pulls quite hard. I can't believe it torquier than my old LS with cams. Personally I'm really happy about this swap (although it's very expensive). At first my Mugen chip PR3 ecu didn't work, so I used the old PR4 for a week. But today I turned the chip around and it's working perfectly, car idles at ~690 RPM and VTEC x-over is set at 4500.

Stay tuned for stage 2 and stage 3 later, as soon as I have money again

Any comments, just shoot (Good or bad)

Good job. I'm in the process of doing the same thing to a friends car.

That I won't bother to make an estimate, but my butt dyno tells me it's quite a bit Did some CR calculation on c-speed's site and technically I should put down more than a G2 GSR but just a tad.

But my LS tranny and stock bottom is what's holding me back right now.

That would be my stage 2 and 3

If you have any question, ie. what part fits and doesn't fit, just ask

This is a really good experience for me and my friends!

Any plans for the bottom end? Is that the plan for phase 2?

Stage 2 is my S1 hybrid tranny with LS 5th gear and Centerforce DF clutch.

Stage 3 is fully balanced bottom end with PR3 pistons, all new bearings, and some kind of girdle (haven't really decided on one yet, any recommendation?)

Yep, I agree, but at least her face is okay, unlike other import models That's the OEM kit for 90-91 Integra, pretty rare if you ask anyone on G2IC. I guess I'm lucky, hehe...
