how do i remove the vents, i tried unbolting the dash but it's still not coming up

i need the fents that are on the dash that are near the doors, how do i remove them?

they should just pop right out with a flat head screwdriver

 

there are screws that you have to unscrew before you pop them out with the screwdriver,plastic screws

 

This is what the Helms manual says:
*Both side air vents have 2 side clips that must be released from underneath.

All I can say is be very careful when taking them out I have pulled maybe 5 or so vents out and I have yet to find an easy way to do it. Its a big pita and yes all it is are metal clips that hold them in and they are hard to get released.
