h&r sports springs on a 5th gen accord.....how low with stock struts
i just bought h&r sport springs for my 94 Lx, i dont have the money yet for nicer shocks yet but intend on getting some sooner or later but with the springs on my oe shocks, will the car only drop the 2 inches or whatever it is. I read that you get diffenent lowering rates with different shocks so im just wondering what i could expect for a drop with the shocks that are on my car. Thanks alot
The shocks don't actually carry any weight, the spring does all that. Therefore it doesn't matter what shocks you are running, the drop will be the same. If the spring's specs say 2", then they will most likely be pretty close to a 2 inch drop. Good luck!

yep, spring support the spung weight and shock control the spring rebound cycle

Youll be fine using your oem shocks. Id wait until new shocks arrive so it'd less of a hassle installing. Plus using lowering springs on oem shocks wears away the longivity of the shocks faster. I blew my oem spring in 2 weeks using neuspeeds.
with such a low drop on OEM springs.. your gonna be bouncing around like all hell. I love watching these retards around town bouncing around.. Its so easy to tell someone has no aftermarket shocks.
