Do i need it for racing or a good rollcage? i need some companys that make them and how much. any pics of it would be great also.

1.oem hardtop is anywhere from 3,000-5,000$
2.roll cage vs hard top? depend on the class you're racing, some tracks are more strict than others.
3.check out mugen they also make hardtops, made of carbon fibers, the hardtop is more slanted and have sharp coners (style). Personally i like my oem hardtop vs mugen because mugen have bad blind spot like the soft top, oem doesnt (as much).

MUGEN TOP
yea i was just showing you the mugen top to share what it looks like. I personally like the OEM hardtop. I'm not sure what the rules are now but when i got mine, I had to send in my vin# to honda to buy one, which by the way is another reason why it cost so much.

I like the OEM hardtop better too, looks a little like an RX-7.
But, the Mugen hardtop is supposedly designed to work with their rear diffuser and SS wing to provide 300lbs of downforce. They're all designed to work together to get that number. I read that on s2ki.com, I haven't verifed if that's really true though.

The OEM top does NOT cost $5k. You should be able to pick it up for $3k or less at just about any honda dealer. MSRP on the hardtop is $3k; if they try to charge you more then you're getting jerked around. I recently called every dealer in each of three cities to price hardtops and got quotes ranging from $2500 to $3800. SHOP AROUND. Or PM hardtopguy as mentioned previously. They also come up used on ebay occasionally as well as the classifieds on s2ki.
