I have a auto '97 LX. I wanted to know if there are any recomendations on how to do it and what parts to get?

call me dumb but what is a transmotion swap, you mean swap it to manual tranny?

I did it on my '90. First check if the tranny mount bracket is in a different spot for the auto/manual cars. It is for 4th gens so I had to cut it off and weld the correct one in. Other than that no a bad project. Try a salvage yard for a wrecked '97 5-Speed, and grab all the parts you need of it...
