Default Bolt ons or internals first?

Ok, I have just gotten a really good deal on a GSR motor but it has 160XXXmi. on it and it's going in my daily driver. Since this is my first motor to mess with that has this many miles Ihave a couple questions:

1. Should I work on the internals first since it has so many miles? Or do some simple bolt ons first.

2. What would be a good plan of attack? I'm thinking Skunk 2 stage one cams, crower rods, and JE pistons. I'm pretty much sticking all motor(no turbo or SC) but I will probably do a 75 shot eventually.

3. What are the little things that I will need to do to keep up the maintenance with this high mileage motor?

Thanks for any help with the questions and sorry for all the stupid questions, just wanna know so I don't mess anything up and go wasting some money.

Chris

do a compression test first make sure u got good numbers across the board. if you got good numbers then do whatever you want. if not then do internals first.

Bolt ons first. I went internals first when I decided to get my jun stage 3 cams. Damn they they bogg like hell at vtec engagement. After I got my jdm 4-1 header, it pulled so much better, quicker and smoother.
